At least one resident in each year (as of 2013-14) was NFP only. No tubals are done at the hospital. Contraception is prescribed in the clinic; however, residents ask their colleagues to prescribe for them. Some support from administration (nearby NFP teaching center) but there are not any NFP only faculty. There are several attendings who are NFP only but they are not involved in the residency program.

NB: it is now known as Mercy – dropped St. Johns from name
