We are seeking an experienced office manager to join our team. The office manager will supervise clinic staff, fill in where needed as a team player, and assist practice leadership in growing the business. The perfect candidate will be the owner of the day-to-day operations.
Office Manager Expectations:
– Supervise staff under the direction of the Medical Director and Board of Directors, including scheduling, training and development.
– Fill in where needed in order to run an efficient and productive clinic. This includes helping the team troubleshoot technical issues.
– Oversee billing operations by working directly with billing company and providers to ensure charges are input and reviewed in a timely fashion.
– Identify, analyze, and resolve workflow problems.
– Assist with reporting and data capture.
– Assist in evaluations of performance and targeted goals, as well as other HR operations.
– Exercise stewardship over facilities and equipment.
– Order, maintain, and manage office and medical supplies.
– Maintain a safe work environment for patients and staff.
– Assist practice leadership with business development projects, prioritizing growing clinic volume and business.
– Assist practice leadership with compliance training and operations.
– Other duties as assigned. You must be comfortable with being the “doer of all things” alongside your leadership team.
Experience Requirements (One must apply):
– High School Diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in an Office Manager or similar role in an outpatient office.
– A Medical Assistant or LPN with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an Office Manager or similar role in an outpatient office.
– A bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 2 years’ experience in an outpatient office or similar medical administrative setting.
Other Requirements:
– Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
– Must have a thorough understanding of medical billing and insurance verification.
– Must have a thorough understanding of compliance operations.
