I along with another senior resident am NFP only. The hospital is Seventh Day Adventist affiliated, but we are both Catholic. Since there is a Christian affiliation, no abortions are performed at the hospital and there is greater acceptance from other residents and Family medicine staff. One of the major reasons I chose this program over others was that the residents are very accommodating with one another. We do have to allow our patients seeking contraception to see other residents, but the staff is aware that we do not refill or sign for them. I believe Dr. Bauer (the other resident) may be certified to teach the Billings method.
